Don't worry! We're still here!

We've been SO BUSY creating and sewing and envisioning and sewing and sharing and sewing and selling and sewing and sewing and sewing that we just realized we have neglected our blog for almost TWO YEARS.  Shame on us!

Well, WE'RE BACK.  And we are excited to share with you all that we have created during that time!!

Our cashmere wraps are one of our newer creations that we are thrilled with how our vision has evolved.  Made from 100% cashmere, and finished with unique, vintage buttons, our cashmere wraps are perfect for those 'in-between' days.  Add a cashmere cowl for some extra warmth!

The Snood

We are excited to share with you one of our latest creations....The Snood.  You know that moment when a blast of cold air goes right in between the crack in your scarf??  Or, how you can never quite wrap your scarf good enough to keep the chill away from your neck?  Fear not my friends!!!  The Snood has come to your rescue!!  Seriously though.....The Snood will keep your neck, chin, and chest warmer than ever, AND you'll look damn good too :).

Digging Out

No, we are (thankfully) not digging out from too much snow.  We are digging out from under scraps of fur, felt, wool, buttons, you name it!  Between the creating, and sewing, and felting, and inventory building, we have neglected you all and we are sorry!  But we are excited to share our new creations, and of course more of our classics, within the coming weeks.  Be sure to keep checking back to see what we've been up to!

Mission

History of Artfully Wilde...
Artfully Wilde began as a home show organized by a jeweler and basket maker in Columbia, Maryland. Her idea was to invite fellow artists and their customers to a grand party and sale of unique art and craft. In 1993 she moved the popular and growing show to Slayton House, Wilde Lake, Columbia and called it Wilde and Wonderful.
In 2001 the current organizers volunteered to continue the show, using a new name, Artfully Wilde. This loyally attended show continues to grow and change each year. This year we will have seven new artists, as well as twenty-three returning ones.

Company Overview

Dates for 2014 are Friday, Nov 7, from 5 - 9, and Saturday, Nov 8, from 10 - 4. 2014 will be the 23rd year for this show, 9 years as Wilde and Wonderful, 15 years as Artfully Wilde .

Location is 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Slayton House, Wilde Lake Village Center, Columbia, Maryland 21044.

Gala Friday night reception with music, wine, food.

Free admission.

Artfully Wilde is a show organized by artists, for artists. Resembling a temporary retail store, the setup forgoes the individual booth spaces. Instead the work of all artists is collectively displayed in an integrated and merchandised manner.

Artists are on hand at all times to assist the public with items, questions and completing their purchases.

Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
